Portovenere

I had two wonderful days in Portovenere, Liguria, Italy. Finally a short holiday after four months of work. Everything has been wonderful and perfect just like in a dream.

Farewell party

Yesterday we’ve made a little farewell party in my home garden. We had bbq and we were about 20 people.

Vaccinations

Today I went in a hospital in my home town, Bergamo, to have some vaccinations for the trip. I had the following:

Thyphoid Poliomyelitis Hepatitis A Hepatitis B Tetanus-diphtheria

Got Visa!

Today I’ve been to the Thai Consulate and I got the visa for Thailand: one picture, one filled form application, photocopy of airline ticket and 30 euro. New Backpack

Today I bought a new backpack.. a Ferrino Voyage 100.. where 100 means 100 liters. It will be a faithful buddy for my trip.

Getting ready

Today I’ve been in Brescia to get my new Passport. It will be valid for ten years and includes digital picture so it’s eligible for the visa waiver program to go to the united states without visa. For the moment though I don’t plan to go there.
