Tonight I had dinner with friends in Chiang Mai JK Internet Cafe’. Stella cooked big spaghetti with a rich sauce including meat.

The dentist

Yesterday I’ve been to the dentist in Chiang Mai. The clinic is near Three Kings’ monument (Saam Kasat) and it’s called Mukmai Dental Clinic.

I think doctor Suttipong is very good and speaks English very well too. Above is a view of the clinic entrance hall.

Lotus flowers, flower garlands and incense sticks can be bought by the shops. Prostrating and praying can give you merit.

This Monday and Tuesday are Buddhist days, a religious holiday for Thai people. This is named Asalha Puja. It was on this day that the Lord Buddha preached His sermon to followers after attaining enlightenment. Rambutan and Temples

Today I bought some Rambutan fruits from a street vendor.

And I’ve visited a Buddhist temple near here. I don’t know the name.

Working in Chiang Mai

I’m settled in Chiang Mai, it’s a good place for working. Lately there has been a lot of rain, and there is some little flooding. I think the situation will be worse a month later when it will rain more and more.
