Hi I’m Stivlo and I’m a web developer and system administrator. I was born and lived in Italy. I have been travelling in Asian countries, for the last few years, while working on my laptop. Now I am married and living in the Philippines, but always open to move somewhere else.

• Programming Google App Engine – O’Reilly – Google Press – Dan Sanderson (I’m reading it)
• Head First – Design Patters – O’Reilly – Eric & Elisabeth Freeman (I’m reading it)
• JavaScript: The Good Parts – O’Reilly – Douglas Crockford (A slim book from a JavaScript guru, not so many explanations about the details of the code he shows, but the book is inspiring and showed me that indeed JavaScript has good parts)
• ExtJS in Action – Manning – Jesus D. Garcia, Jr. (Still a draft I got through Manning Early Access Program, I actually read 7 of the 17 chapters for now, because is enough for my needs)
• Ext JS 3.0 Cookbook – Pakt Publishing – Jorge Ramon. (To be used like a reference after you know already the basics of Ext JS)
• Head First PHP & MySQL – O’Reilly – Lynn Beighley, Lynn Beighley. (Looks like a book good for beginners, but with the excuse of keeping things simple, it teaches questionable programming practices)
• Managing Software Development with Trac and Subversion – Packt – David Murphy. (Simple and short book but interesting and I learnt some things I didn’t know about Trac and Subversion)
