Today I’ve made some calculations to compare taxi fares in Bangkok, Thailand with the ones in Milano, Italy. I’ve calculated 49 baht for 1 euro that is approximately the exchange rate for today.

Minimum fee is 3 euro or 147 baht in Milano and 35 baht or 0.71 euro in Bangkok. A city ride of 20 minutes, 6km would cost about 20 euro or 980 baht in Milan and about 150 baht or 3.06 euro in Bangkok.

A 45 minutes ride, 45 km distance would cost about 75 euro in Milano (3675 baht) and about 300 baht in Bankgok (6.12 euro).

A 60 minutes ride for 50 km distance would cost about 80 euro in Milano (3920 baht) or 350 baht in Bangkok (7.14 euro).

In other words taxis are not a convenient way to get around in Milano!

Going to Australia!

I am going to Australia, Perth from 7th January to 10th January to ask for non immigrant B Visa for Thailand. I will be hosted by Raymond, a guy from the couchsurfing website. Woah! Couchsurfing to Australia!

My friend Iris from Hong Kong has sent me two stickers to put on the office windows. We tried to stick for ourselves first but then I decided it was better to call someone used to do it for the best result.
