Sunday walking streets is a big evening market taking place every Sunday in Chiang Mai.

I don’t know if this is something for Buddhist days or not.

In the market you can eat a lot of delicious and cheap food.

Tonight I had dinner with friends in Chiang Mai JK Internet Cafe’. Stella cooked big spaghetti with a rich sauce including meat.

For the after meal, what’s better than dried seaweed and dried fish! I could not stop eating them.

Yesterday I’ve been to the dentist in Chiang Mai. The clinic is near Three Kings’ monument (Saam Kasat) and it’s called Mukmai Dental Clinic.

I think doctor Suttipong is very good and speaks English very well too. Above is a view of the clinic entrance hall.

I went to a Pharmacy shop yesterday and asked for price of anti-malaric medicines. After they understood I was just asking for the price and not buying anything they suddenly became very unpolite and stopped answering questions. So today I went to another Pharmacy and I found a really kind doctor who also wrote down for me the names and prices of the medicines.

Chloroquine – 2 tablets per day – 2 baht / tablet

Lotus flowers, flower garlands and incense sticks can be bought by the shops. Prostrating and praying can give you merit.
